Host Century withstood a tight battle with small school Hayfield in a two setter. The Panthers used

this game as a springboard to the championship. Century relied on their middles for both offense and defense. Anna Wagner and Catherine Plevak combined for 3.5 blocks and 17 kills. Hayfield was more balanced with now player reaching more than five kills. Century had better ball control with five more FSSO and a 13-6 advantage in free ball situations.

Hayfield got off to a 5-0 start in the first set with two aces courtesy of Jaide Ryks. However that was the Vikings only run in the first set. Century used a four point run to close the gap to 6-5. The Panthers took the lead for good in the first set with a four point run which forced a a Hayfield timeout at 11-9. Anna Wagner had two kills in the run. The Vikings did inch back to close to 17-16 which in turn forced a Century time out. That break stopped the threat with a kill by Plevak. The Panthers were able to squeeze out one point on their next four serves, while Hayfield was stopped on two straight serves. Century won the earned point totals this set narrowly 15-13.

It was Century with the first advantage up 5-3 after three kills by three different players. A 6-1 run put the Vikings in front 9-6. Hayfield had one more 3 point run in them to push the margin to 13-9. Century took a time out at that point and turned it around with four straight after the break which tied it at 13. After two hitting errors Century took a 17-16 lead and it was Hayfield's turn for a time out. The Vikings scored the next two points to regain the lead at 18-17. Century had an 8-3 finish started by a run of three. Hayfield took their second time out after three straight by Century 20-18. Paige Olson ended the  match with two kills.

Century was 10-6 on the year after this win. Hayfield was 10-5 after the match.
