Minnesota Defeats Baylor in Four Sets----Minnesota. Minnesota won the earned points 70-58. Lauren Gibbemeyer (Cretin-Derham Hall) had 19 points for the Gophers). Tori Dixon (Burnsville) and Ashley Wittman (Shakopee) had 13 and 10.5 points in addition for MN. Wittman also had 19 digs.

Texas-sized victory for No. 5 Illini-----Illinois. The Illini led in earned points 61-43. Laura DeBruhler had 17 points for Illinois.

Hoosiers Blow Past Arkansas State to Open IU adidas Classic----Indiana. Indiana beat Arkansas State in earned points 63-26. Ashley Benson had 20 points for Indiana.

Spartans Rally Back to Top New Mexico in Five-----Michigan State. MSU won the earned points 80-79. Kyndra Abron had 18 points for Michigan State.

Sioux get past Panthers in five-set slugfest-----North Dakota. UND won the earned points of UW Milwaukee 85-79. Devin Trefz (Bagley) had 21.5 points for North Dakota. Annika Smed (Albert Lea) added 17 points. Ellen Kruger (Lakeville South) had 46 assists and Courtney Halvorson (Red Lake County Central) had 29 digs for the Sioux.
